EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The City of Cheyenne has established a program to assist Fire Rescue employees and their family members in coping with some of the unique stressors involved in first responder work. We want to help provide resources so that Fire Rescue staff members can quickly and conveniently, and in complete privacy, get in touch with a qualified provider who stands ready to assist with any emotional or psychological issue.
Between July 1st and June 30th of each year, Cheyenne Fire Rescue employees and family members will be provided with up to five hours of services per issue, at no cost. To access services, simply select a provider from the group and email or phone them directly. You do not need a referral from anyone else, and you may remain anonymous. If you prefer to see your provider for longer than five meetings, you may use your health insurance program to continue services (each of our providers will accept the program). If you would like assistance in arranging a referral, contact Dr. Post’s office at 307-631-4565
