Welcome to the
Douglas Police Department’s
Employee Assistance Program
The Douglas Police Department has established a special program to assist employees. This is an additional benefit that provides confidential access to mental health professionals who have experience with and a special interest in working with first responders.
Everyday stressors, as well as some of the unique stressors and difficulties involved in public safety work, can affect our lives and have a real impact on our well-being. We want to help provide resources so that staff members quickly, conveniently, and in complete privacy, get in touch with a qualified provider who stands ready to assist with any emotional or psychological issue.
The Employee Assistance Program provides access to a network of specially selected mental health professionals practicing in Wyoming who have experience in assisting public employees.
Between July 1st and June 30th of each year, Douglas Police Department employees will be provided with up to three hours of services each, at no cost.
To access services, simply select a provider and email or call them directly. You do not need a referral from anyone else, and you may remain anonymous if you wish. If you prefer to see your provider for longer than three meetings, you may use your health insurance program to continue services.
